{"id":19923,"date":"2018-03-06T16:23:51","date_gmt":"2018-03-06T16:23:51","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/jomec.co.uk\/cjsnews\/?p=19923"},"modified":"2018-03-06T16:31:30","modified_gmt":"2018-03-06T16:31:30","slug":"doubled-parking-charges-would-be-end-of-the-high-street","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/jomec.co.uk\/cjsnews\/doubled-parking-charges-would-be-end-of-the-high-street\/","title":{"rendered":"Outrage over doubled parking charges proposal"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>Cardiff Conservatives say proposals to double car parking charges would be a &#8220;tax on shoppers&#8221;.<\/strong><br \/>\n<!--more--><\/p>\n<p>They say the change, proposed in the Senedd and welcomed by the Welsh Government, would mark the &#8220;end of the High Street&#8221;.<\/p>\n<p>Currently, council car parks in the city centre charge \u00a33.10 for two hours.
