{"id":19967,"date":"2018-03-06T15:49:46","date_gmt":"2018-03-06T15:49:46","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/jomec.co.uk\/cjsnews\/?p=19967"},"modified":"2018-03-06T15:49:46","modified_gmt":"2018-03-06T15:49:46","slug":"danger-warning-over-damaged-water-tanks","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/jomec.co.uk\/cjsnews\/danger-warning-over-damaged-water-tanks\/","title":{"rendered":"&#8216;Danger&#8217; warning over damaged water tanks"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>A Cardiff-based\u00a0plumbing business is warning home owners they could be in danger from water tanks affected by the cold snap.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><!--more-->Limegreen Heating and Plumbing say their phones have been ringing non-stop since snow and freezing temperatures hit Wales.<\/p>\n<p>Burst water tanks, pipes and broken-down boilers have been among the problems as the thaw set in.<\/p>\n<p>Rhys Gayle, who manages\u00a0Limegreen Heating and Plumbing said water tanks could be stored in loft spaces and if they burst then people could be seriously injured.<\/p>\n<p>Mr Gayle said:\u00a0&#8220;The other thing is, people could be suffering in the cold because boilers have broken down in these horrendous temperatures.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;I suggest people check out their houses more thoroughly, do a full M.O.T on it really. They need to get it checked out in order to prevent these issues from going any further or happening in the future.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>Meanwhile, mains water pipe bursts have left hundreds of people cut off for days. This morning,\u00a0Welsh Water said: &#8220;We want to sincerely apologise to customers who are still seeing problems with their supply.
