{"id":21838,"date":"2018-12-11T16:48:02","date_gmt":"2018-12-11T16:48:02","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/jomec.co.uk\/cjsnews\/?p=21838"},"modified":"2018-12-11T16:49:46","modified_gmt":"2018-12-11T16:49:46","slug":"first-hindu-and-sikh-funerals-proposal-for-cardiff","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/jomec.co.uk\/cjsnews\/first-hindu-and-sikh-funerals-proposal-for-cardiff\/","title":{"rendered":"First Hindu and Sikh funerals proposal for Cardiff"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>Cardiff Council are discussing plans with Llandaff Rowing Club about how to develop the site to allow the funerals to be held there.<\/strong><br \/>\n<!--more--><\/p>\n<p>The club is considered to be the best site available in Cardiff because of its easy access and parking.<\/p>\n<p>Trevor Wing, the club&#8217;s chairman, is meeting with the council tomorrow, on Wednesday the 12th of December, to discuss the details of how the arrangement would work.<\/p>\n<p>The plans would include building a new landing stage which could be used for the funerals and by the rowers at the club.<\/p>\n<p>Mr Wing says \u00a0their current landing stage was built after World War Two and is in dire need of replacement. He says they have been &#8220;constantly repairing it since the floods&#8221;.
