If it\u2019s Council owned, any chance of scheduling a clean-up, or if private, can you please contact landowners to clear? Thanks \/ diolch <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/hashtag\/QuickQueryCDF?src=hash&amp;ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">#QuickQueryCDF<\/a> <a href=\"https:\/\/t.co\/YRX18q6VJC\">pic.twitter.com\/YRX18q6VJC<\/a><\/p>&mdash; Keep Grangetown Tidy (@TidyGrangetown) <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/TidyGrangetown\/status\/1233888611415871488?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">February 29, 2020<\/a><\/blockquote><script async src=\"https:\/\/platform.twitter.com\/widgets.js\" charset=\"utf-8\"><\/script>\n<\/div><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>There had been confusion about who was responsible for the land but Cardiff Council say it belongs to the club and it is their responsibility to clear the space.  <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Keep Grangetown Tidy Organiser Fiona McAllister says the land has been dirty for a long time. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>&#8220;It&#8217;s really very neglected and very dirty,&#8221; McAllister said. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>&#8220;There&#8217;s a lot of litter there and it doesn&#8217;t look like its been cleared in a long time.&#8221; <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Ms McAllister says that Natural Resources Wales have contacted them and suggested that the land be used as a community green space instead. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>&#8220;It would be nice if it could be made some kind of community garden or community green space.&#8221;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>&#8220;It is quite a nice patch of grass, there&#8217;s some trees and things on it. It could be somewhere where you have a few benches on it, people could sit and have their lunch.&#8221; <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The council said that their waste enforcement team are looking into the matter.  <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Cardiff City Football Club has been approached for comment. <\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The community group , Keep Grangetown Tidy, says it is concerned about the amount of rubbish around Cardiff City&#8217;s stadium.
