It runs across two weekends with free school sessions during the week giving more encouragement.

Some very prominent authors and illustrators like Tom Percival, Catherine Fisher, Huw Aaron, Tom Palmer and Steven Butler to just name a few were present. The events include; LEGO Lit Workshop, Storytime with the Gruffalo, Creative Writing with Catherine Fisher , Rebel girl! with Lowri Morgan and Writing for Children & Getting Published with Harotio Clare and Philippa Milnes-Smith. These primarily focused on sharing experiences , answering questions and giving top tips on creating the best stories for children and how to get them published.

Stephanie, a student aspiring to be a publisher says that she is intrigued to know about this festival. She also thinks that these talks provide great opportunities for people wanting to build a career around literature. Such festivals make people more aware about the literature and art scene in and around Cardiff.

Combining education , fun and literature, these sessions are not to be missed.
