Cardiff Reds Choir sings against racism

Cardiff Reds Choir has been campaigning against various causes over the years. But, currently they are taking a strong stand against racism and Islamophobia.

Cardiff Reds Choir is currently publicizing the rally they are organizing on the 18th of March, which is the UN’s Anti Racism Day. This march is to spread the message against Islamophobia and racism. The choir sings in different public places of Cardiff. Their songs are the medium through which they spread their message to public. They want people to be aware about the current issue of racism. Wendy Lewis, the music director of the choir has been a part of the choir for nearly 30 years. She said that certain policies by Donald Trump has been promoting racism and the choir is protesting against it.

Sue Lent, a member of the choir is also the deputy leader of the Cardiff Council. She says that the rally is going to start from Grangetown on the 18th of March at 11 a.m and will then proceed towards the Cardiff City Centre.The choir has always proven their presence. Elaine Ryan joins the choir everytime she is in Cardiff from the States. She expresses her happiness in singing along with them for a noble cause.  All the member of the choir are deeply concerned about the issue they are protesting against. They hope to be successful in spreading their message.
