Cardiff Council plans to build two new Wellbeing hubs in northern Cardiff.

Wellbeing hubs aim to provide a wide range of community and well being services for people. Specially, Rhydypennau and Whitchurch hubs will be actually developed from Rhydypennau Library and Whitchurch Library. The Council plans to preserve the previous library services and provide more services such as core Council services, school admission advice and IT suite.

The consultation of the plan is still open to the public, because the Council plans to collect residents’ and the public’s opinions about which services and activities they would like to see.

The construction of the two new wellbeing hubs has not been started. Llandaff North and Gabalfa Hub is another hub that is near to Whitchurch library. The Manager, Joe Boyle said that they have offered kinds of services to local people.

The current services provided here have made great impacts on people. The plan is to offer similar services in other parts of the city.
