After months of heated debate, petitions and protest the street was saved from the corporate developers and the law was eventually changed. A testament to the devotion and passion this little street inspires it was awarded protected status and a commitment by the Council to work with the venues in the future. Cherished, loved, defended and it is now the Small Street that made the Big Noise.
