When it comes to food, Cardiff certainly knows how to do things well. With new restaurants opening all the time and a melting pot of cultures to discover, food lovers might find it hard to keep up; that’s why we created the new mini-podcast series about the best and most interesting restaurants in the Welsh capital! In just over 10 minutes, we’ll tell you everything you need to know about the hidden gems of both Welsh and international cuisine.
For this first episode, we are joined by food enthusiasts Andrea, Pryiankaa and Peter. They have their own podcast, Dig In!, where they chat all things food. Additionally, Peter is a former chef and currently on a journey to become a food critic. Together we talked about Nook, one of the latest additions to the Victoria Park area. This exceptional restaurant specialises in small plates dining, so people can try a little bit of everything. It’s a bit like tapas, but their dishes are inspired by different cultures as well as by traditional British cuisine for a truly unique mix of locally sourced ingredients.
