We scoured Instagram for some beautiful vans from across the world
Radius and Ulna
A French couple converting an old VW Transporter 4 into a perfect place to live, Radius and Ulna have designed a van with a beautifully simple, almost Scandinavian, feel. Everything in this home on wheels is both useful and beautiful and its owners are just getting to grips with life on the road.
The couple behind the conversion are just beginning to get used to living in a small space. They say, “Keep it nice and tidy is quickly becoming our motto!”
Vanlife Brisbane
The Brisbane girl in a van is adamant that living in a small space doesn’t need to feel confining. She says that the world is her backyard, “It sometimes needs to be explained that in living in a small space, I consequently spend more time out and about doing things – not sitting around bumping my head on things in the dark.”
Her home on wheels is all about colour! Light and bright, her van life couldn’t look happier. And she has tried it all before when she was little. Apparently that van was covered in paintings of dogs and rainbows.
Sunny June
Riding their T1 van through Europe, Paula and Viola drove their lovingly named Sunny June outside of Germany for the first time this year. Taking an extended trip to celebrate turning one year older, they have been on the road for several months and show no sign of slowing down.
The paint job on this van has to be its stand out feature. Covered in daisies and filled with tribal patterned fabrics and beads and an abundance of fairy lights, Sunny June looks both fun and cosy.
Home Sweet Van
Traveling the North American West in their converted Sprinter, Juliana, Richmond, and their dog Roscoe, live the van life for the open space which moving around so much makes available to them. They have made every single inch of their converted van work for them and have kept it feeling homely. There are even some quirky circle windows on the back door!
They are now developing an app for the van life community and are currently reaching out to all van dwellings for any input. Sounds like a great idea to us!
