Quirky Campers help anyone live the van life, without having to own one
Created by partners Lindsay Berresford, 32, and David French, 35, in 2010, Quirky Campers works with van owners across the UK to rent out rolling homes. We spoke to them about their company for of our next issue, but thought you might like to know a little more about the people behind the business.

The first van the couple rented out was their own, a red Mercedes Sprinter named Bella. Now, Quirky Campers have 22 stunning conversions to choose from online and their range of vans is constantly growing.
For Lindsay and David the business is now a priority, but they still make time for Bella. Even with a growing family, which now includes three children under the age of four, the couple still go on road trips several times a year. Lindsay adds, “The trips are different but just as fun!”

Over the years, they have taken Bella to music festivals in France, sailing holidays in Holland, street theatre events in Belgium and dozens of weddings. Perhaps their most memorable trip was one in January this year when they took Bella up to Scotland to celebrate their anniversary. Lindsay says, “We sat in our t-shirts with the wood burner roaring, surrounded by snow. We went whiskey tasting, we ate fresh seafood and we found an open-air hot tub with a glorious view out over the sea.”
Lindsay and David are passionate about what they call, “exploring your own back yard.” For them, van life can be just as much about exploring every inch of the UK as it is about travelling far and wide.
