Meet up with other dads to learn tips, tricks and cooking hacks at DadCon 2018. Online parenting community The Dad Network has teamed up with CBeebies Magazine to bring dads (and dads alone) together in a social and educational environment. The conference is for all dads, and takes place at the Sony Music Arena on 23 June 2018 from 9am-5:30pm.

For only £15, dads can go to workshops and find out how to cook healthy meals, how to take better family photos and how to style long hair.

There are workshops on how to make money while blogging on social media, how to get rid of the dreaded dad-bod, how to have a nurturing relationship with the mother of your child, as well as essential financial advice so that you don’t end up out of pocket. DadCon 2018 offers sessions where dads can learn creative new ways to have fun and learn with their children, as well as how to be the BBQ king of your neighbourhood (if the weather permits).

The convention also features conferences from The Parenting Chapter in which they discuss some of the common challenges of being a parent. The Parenting Chapter prides itself on giving parents helpful guidance and tips on being a parent, providing professional advice and online courses which follow the development of a baby as it grows from a newborn to a toddler.

There will be guest speakers such as the head of business development at Insanity Group Neil Ransome, as well as the founder of The Dad Network, Rory Flashman.

The best part about having a conference exclusively for dads? The folks over at Bombardier share their alcoholic expertise at their ale tasting session. It’d be a proper waste to miss out on those free samples.
