At least 450 people in Wales have been tested for the coronavirus, it has been revealed.
In a press conference, Vaughan Gething and Chief Medical Officer Frank Atherton reveal Wales’ strategy to combat the virus, which has been named COVID 19.
Prime Minister Boris Johnson has also revealed a six-point plan to tackle the virus.
The current number of cases in the UK stands at 51, revealed Health Secretary, Matt Hancock. The number of confirmed cases in Wales still stands at 1.

Iran mobilises soldiers and volunteers
Iran has mobilised 300,000 soldiers and volunteers after the number of 23 MPs become infected.
The cases have now passed 2,000 and is 835 more than the previous total.
Experts fear Iran’s high ratio of deaths to infections is around 3.3%, which may mean the infection figure is much higher.

Mako Vunipola in self-isolation
The England prop is now out of Saturday’s Wales vs England Six Nations game because he is self-isolating as a coronavirus precaution.
He is not thought to have symptoms of the virus, but had been in Tonga to visit family and had flown through Hong Kong on the way back to England.

Matt Hancock, the Health Secretary, is facing questions from Parliament.
He says conversations with the Chief Executive of the NHS are ongoing about sick pay support for low paid hospital workers if they have to self-isolate.
He was asked about this by Nick Smith, Labour MP for Blaenau Gwent.

No plans to cancel major events
“There are no plans at the moment to cancel any mass gatherings of big sporting events” says Frank Atherton.
“Any decision on that will be for the future and will be determined by spreading and what the science is telling us.
“At the moment, there’s no reason to cancel any of those kinds of activities.”

‘111 helpline expanded’
The 111 service is now available across Wales for coronavirus advice, says Frank Atherton.
Previously, it has only been accessible in parts of Wales, which did not include Cardiff. It was available in Hywel Dda, Powys, Aneurin Bevan, Swansea Bay, and Cwm Taf Morgannwg Health Boards.
Now, everyone across Wales can contact 111 for coronavirus advice.
