How will Cardiff City fare against Blackburn Rovers?

Cardiff City will face Blackburn Rovers at home tonight in the Sky Bet Championship, and it is hard to find two teams in more different form.

In-form Blackburn tackle struggling City tonight at the Cardiff City Stadium

Although only six points separate the two teams in the league, Blackburn are coming off a rampaging 4-1 at home to Stoke, with four wins in the last six games in all competitions. On the other hand, Cardiff have failed to win one out of their previous six games.

A low point for City came last week when they failed to display any spark in a 0-0 home draw against a struggling Brighton & Hove Albion.

News that winger Anthony Pilkington will miss tonight’s match with a hamstring injury will come as a further blow to the Bluebirds, although they may be buoyed by the fact Blackburn haven’t won on the road since their victory over Nottingham Forest on 25 October.
