Bluebirds take new signing Traore to Leeds

DEADLINE day signing Armand Traore is set to start at left back when Cardiff City travel to Leeds United tomorrow (Feb 3).

The visitors head to Elland Road with two wins in their last six games and a defeat against Manchester City in the fourth round of the FA Cup.

Leeds are on a poor run of form and have lost four of their last six in all competitions. They sit 10th in the table, seven points behind Cardiff in fourth.

Team News

Cardiff will be without Joe Bennet following his red card late on against Manchester City.  Armand Traore from Nottingham Forest is set to start at left back.

Neil Warnock was busy on deadline day and signed Gary Madine for £5 million from Bolton. Jamie Ward was involved in a swap deal with Lee Tomlin for Nottingham Forest and he will be looking to push Kenneth Zohore for a start upfront.

Leeds were also busy in the transfer window signing striker Tyler Roberts from West Brom for £2.5 million. Injuries and suspensions have taken a toll on Leeds with six first-team players unavailable.

Leeds coach Thomas Christiansen will be hoping Matthew Pannington passes a late fitness test as he only has one centre-back fit.

Kick-off is 3pm.
