Are you ready for Five Guys? The American burger joint hits Cardiff

It is now less than a week until fast-food sensation Five Guys hits Cardiff’s Brewery Quarter. The US burger bar has restaurants in London, Glasgow and Bristol, but how will it fare in the Welsh capital?

We asked our very own Ryan Cryle, editor of Cardiff food review website Peak Burger, for his thoughts:

“Five Guys comes with a very big reputation. I have personally never been but from photos close friends that have visited the Glasgow and London restaurants have taken it looks brilliant. I will be one of the first people through the door when it opens next week!”

The burger joint has gained a cult following since coming to Britain and has drummed up plenty of fans on its twitter profile. With more than 100 different options from its drinks machine, tower-sized burgers with an enormous range of FREE toppings (from gherkins, to extra cheese, to dollops of mayo) and cajun-spiced fries – it is sure to be a big hit in Caroline Street.

Can’t wait for Five Guys to open on March 30? Check out these mouth-watering photos:
