Crimewatch to show CCTV footage of suspect in Cardiff Bay attack

South Wales Police will be appealing on BBC’s Crimewatch tonight as they continue investigations into as sexual assault in Cardiff Bay.

Police want to identify the person responsible for the attack on the 19-year-old woman who was assaulted after walking through Grangetown to Cardiff Bay on November 1 last year.

Tonight CCTV footage of the suspect will be released and the programme will feature a reconstruction of the attack.

The BBC will also air interviews with the female victim and Detective Inspector Lewis from South Wales Police.
