How did the rest of the media report the Cardiff Council budget?

The South Wales Echo reported that the council underwent a series of amendments and descended into chaos. The delays were criticised heavily by councillors throughout the evening.

 

BBC News Wales reported that the leader of Cardiff Council received came under scrutiny after councillors gave a motion of no confidence. Leader Phil Bale told BBC Wales he is not considering his position and is concentrating on Cardiff.

 

ITV Wales reported that Cardiff Councillors voted in favour of the budget designed to meet the £48m shortfall. Council tax will rise by 5 per cent and public services such as day centres are receiving extra funding.
