Eight arrested in council fraud inquiry

EIGHT men have been arrested on suspicion of fraud in Cardiff say South Wales police.

It is understood that seven of the men work for Cardiff council in the waste management service.

The men were arrested on Wednesday morning and have been released on bail.

No further details of the allegations were given, but the investigation continues.
