Llandaff North church does its share for needy

A LLANDAFF North church collected food donations and money in aid of homeless people, refugees and the needy Cardiff Foodbank, Rainbow Of Hope and Ty Bronna at its annual harvest festival.

All Saints Church held a special afternoon tea after the service to raise more money for Cardiff Foodbank, Rainbow of Hope and Ty Bronna, the charity.

At the event were many children who were allowed to miss Sunday school to attend.

The service was led by the Rev Marja Flipse.

“As a church, we like to do as much as we can for the children,” she said.

“We love to get the children involved in events like this. We don’t want them to just to come to church because it makes them feel good, but also because they feel like they are making a real difference in the Llandaff North community.”

All Saints Church is still accepting food donations, as well as money, which can be handed in before services.
